About Us

With over 40 years of experience in the Italian market, SO.T.ECO. S.p.A. has achieved and maintained a leading position in the field of primary water treatment, civil and industrial wastewater treatment, as well as plant management and maintenance.

The company operates throughout the entire water treatment cycle, from the design of purification and drinking water plants to their construction, management and maintenance, including the supply of chemical products for water purification and treatment.

This position is the result of a strong and constant commitment to quality and innovation, which drives the company to develop cutting-edge technologies and services focused on sustainable development.

The natural evolution that began in the 1970s, together with the creation of an internal research laboratory, enabled SO.T.ECO. S.p.A. to establish itself on the market with proprietary patents that anticipated today’s modular systems in the water treatment sector.

This continuous commitment to research and process improvement led the company, during the early 1990s, to develop and implement production and dosing control systems for chlorine dioxide used in drinking water disinfection.

Research, development, innovation, flexibility, market orientation, and consolidated partnerships with European companies for the development of products and production technologies are the key factors that enabled the company to obtain its Quality System Certification as early as 1999.

  • Legality Rating Certification issued by the Italian Competition Authority with a ★★★ score since 28/06/2017
  • Registration in the White List of the Prefecture of Caserta for the supply of services and execution of works not subject to mafia infiltration attempts since 20/02/2017, with subsequent renewals
  • Certification of the Quality Management System according to UNI EN ISO 9001:2015
  • Certification of the Environmental Management System according to UNI EN ISO 14001:2015
  • Certification of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System according to ISO 45001:2018
  • Adoption of the Organizational, Management and Control Model pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001, including Code of Ethics and Disciplinary System

Sustainability and ESG Commitments

SO.T.ECO. S.p.A. joined the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in May 2026 through the simplified SME Climate Target Setting Route, formally committing to reduce its absolute Scope 1+2 emissions by 42% by 2030 compared to the 2024 baseline year, in line with the IPCC 1.5°C pathway.

The company has also committed to participating in the CDP Climate Disclosure starting from the 2026 reporting cycle, ensuring maximum transparency regarding its decarbonization progress and ESG objectives.
